What's in a name & logo? Roux is a take on Reu (owner's name) and a tribute to culinary arts, i.e. a love for creole. Much like roux a good story needs to boiled down & refined, so to speak.
The logo (the spiral/ swirl symbolizes an emerging
consciousness or, sometimes, a loss of one.
In addition, Roux Pictures seeks to facilitate an inventive story that fullfills a character with rising or loss of consciousness, meets the
requirements of its genre and supplies creative, satisfying and
original entertainment that is not of the reality-based genre.
Roux Pictures Entertainment budgets and schedules film production's for micro and modest budgets that can be threatrically marketed to horror and thriller fans. We know it is getting difficult to find a script that is marketable, creative, non-gratuitious that delivers emotional engagement.
But Roux is committed to only developing properties that fit this description and can be shot efficently and promptly with the best talent and production value available.
